Ben Ludbrook
Ben grew up on a family farm near Ballarat. Following graduation with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University, he moved to Tasmania to work as a physiotherapist and explore the great outdoors. He returned to Victoria in 2007 and has been working as a physiotherapist in the Geelong region.
Ben is skilled in treating musculoskeletal problems and sporting injuries. He has a special interest in spinal, knee and shoulder injuries. He also conducts hydrotherapy and core stability classes. Ben has been involved with local sporting teams and was the physiotherapist for the 2008 GFL Interleague Squad. Ben work’s individually with all clients develop the best rehabilitation program to enhance the injury healing process.
Over the past two years Ben has been lecturing for Sports Medicine Australia’s Level One Sports Trainer Course. He has also completed numerous professional development courses and aims to continue to extend his skills by undertaking the Masters of Sports Physiotherapy program in 2011.
Ben’s interests outside of physiotherapy include football, running, surfing, cycling, farming and socialising.
Lauren Woodall
Lauren originated from central Victoria and also moved to Tasmania following graduation. She has worked for Barwon Health as a Physiotherapist over the past 3 years and is currently a Grade Two Physiotherapist at Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre.
Lauren’s passion as a Physiotherapist lies in the field of neuro-rehabilitation. This involves assisting those who have suffered strokes, acquired brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions to regain function and assist them to lead as full a life as possible.
Lauren is also a skilled Physiotherapist in the musculoskeletal field and enjoys treating shoulder, knee, neck and back injuries. She has had experience working with sporting teams and with children. She also currently runs child birth education classes in conjunction with the Geelong Hospital.
Lauren’s social interests include snow boarding, netball, running and enjoying time with friends.
