Sports Physiotherapy
Our therapists are keen sports people themselves and understand the frustration of injury.

With a physiotherapy management plan your Physiotherapist can assist you in:
- Reducing the time out from injury
- Helping prevent further injury
- Helping decrease the chances of re-injury
- Maximising your recovery and sports performance

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Here at Dynamic Motion Health Group our Physiotherapists are highly trained in diagnosing and treating spinal, muscle and joint injuries.

We will assess your biomechanics (movement of the body) and function to see which areas are stiff or damaged. An “evidence based” treatment plan will then be developed to assist you to your full recovery. Stiff joints and muscles may require mobilisation and massage to enable functional movement but, full recovery is often dependent on learning correct movement patterns and postures.

The right advice will allow a more rapid recovery and a reduction the chances of re-injury. In essence you will benefit from less time off work and more time to do the things you enjoy.

Neurological Rehabilitation
At Dynamic Motion Physiotherapy we have a physiotherapist skilled in the neurological rehabilitation field. This specific treatment can assist people following strokes, TIA’s and acquired brain injuries.

We will work with you to establish realistic and achievable goals. We will then help you to strive to achieve these goals. Treatment may involve exercise programs, manual therapy, hydrotherapy and other modalities to help you gain the most out of the sessions.

Hydrotherapy

Here at Dynamic Motion Health Group our Physiotherapists will specifically design a program that is suited to your individual needs.

Hydrotherapy has been shown to be effective at:

• Strengthening muscles
• Improving general fitness
• Improving balance and coordination
• Relieving pain
• Promoting relaxation

It is a great addition to treatment for conditions such as

• Low back pain and stiffness
• Knee and hip replacements
• Post surgery rehabilitation
• Ankle and achillies strains
• Many other conditions/injuries

Core Stability
Your Physiotherapist at Dynamic Motion Health Group will tailor a stability program suited to your individual needs.

Our programs focus on low level endurance muscles of the deep abdominal region, which are important in stabilising the spine during movement.

Core training can be great for:

• Sports players: to gain a competitive edge by increasing their stability and agility when making quick movements and helping to reduce the chances of sustaining hip and groin injuries such as ostisis pubis.

• Low back and neck injuries: to help rebuild their spinal stability

• Pre and post childbirth: muscles are stretched and sometimes torn during these periods. Core training will help strengthen these muscle to give you more support and control

• Work related injuries: Sitting for prolonged periods and lifting heavy objects places excess strain on the spine. Core training will give you the appropriate support to reduce the strain placed on your spine.
